Agrimony, in botany, a genus of the dodecandra digynia clas. There are three species of this genus, viz. the eupatoria, repens, and agrimonoides; of which the eupatoria only is a native of Britain. The calyx of the eupatoria is quinquedentated; it has five petals, and two seeds in the bottom of the calyx. It is said to be good in obstructions of the liver, &c.
