BRAMBLE-NET, otherwise called halibut, is a net to catch birds in, of several sizes; the great meshes must be four inches square; those of the least size are three or four inches square; and those of the biggest five. In the depth, they should not be above three or four inches; but as for the length, they may be enlarged at pleasure; the shortest being eighteen feet long.
