The methods of expelling them are various; as, oil of turpentine, the smoke of corn-mint, of narrow-leaved wild cress, of herb-robert, of the reddish agaric, of mustard, of Guiney pepper, of peats or turf, &c. But cleanliness is the only remedy against vermin of every kind.
