or DIAHEXAPTE, among farriers, a compound medicine, so called from its containing six ingredients, viz. birthwort and gentian roots, juniperberries, bay-berries, myrrh, and ivory shavings. It is commended for colds, consumptions, purpures, and many other disorders in horses.
