Green-weed, or Dyer's weed, a genus of the diadelphia decandria clas. The calyx is bilabiate; the vexillum is oblong, and reflected. There are 14 species, two of which are natives of Britain, viz. the tinctoria, or dyer's weed; and the anglica, or needle-furze.
