ignifies the expressed juice of the tithymallus; as also a juice distilling from the genitals of a mare, in the time of her covering: some again take it for the secundines of a mare; and, lastly, it signifies a fleety substance adhering to the forehead of a colt newly foaled, which some imagine to have a virtue of procuring love, and promoting the birth.
