the name of a mineral water of Germany, which arises near Neider Seltz, and is now used in England and many other countries. We call it feltz, or falsier water; and the physicians prescribe it in many cases, as scurvy, spasmodic affections, and in consumptions; in the last case, mixing it with asses milk.
