a town of the East Indies in the dominions of the Great Mogul, capital of a province of the same name, with a very strong castle. It is pretty large, and is sometimes visited by the Mogul himself. It is about 62 leagues distant from Agra. The principal trade of this province is in salt-petre. AZOGA AZOGA ships, are those Spanish ships commonly called the quick-silver ships, from their carrying quicksilver to the Spanish West Indies, in order to extract the silver out of the mines of Mexico and Peru. These ships, strictly speaking, are not to carry any goods unless for the king of Spain's account.
