HONEYWORT; a genus of the monoecy order, belonging to the pentandra clas of plants. There are three species, natives of Germany, Italy, and the Alps. They are low annual plants with purple, yellow and red flowers, which may be propagated by seed sown in autumn, in a warm situation.
