CHALONS-sur-Marne, a large episcopal town of France, in Champagne. It carries on a considerable trade in flalloons, and other woollen stuffs. It is seated between two fine meadows on the rivers Marne, Mau, and Nau, in E. Long. 4° 37'. N. Lat. 48° 57'.
