WIDOW-WAIL; a genus of the monogynia order, belonging to the triandra class of plants. There is but one species, a little evergreen, and very ornamental shrub, adorned with simple leaves, and tripetalous flowers of a pale yellow colour. It is propagated from seeds, and requires no other care than to be kept free from weeds.
