(Fabio), a very learned botanist, born at Naples about the year 1567. He became skilled in the languages, in music, designing, painting, and the mathematics; and died about the middle of the 17th century. He wrote, 1. Φυτογραφικός, seu Planatarum aliquot (sic pictum) historia. 2. Minus cognitarum rariorumque stirpium expositio: itemque de aquatilibus, aliisque nonnullis animalibus, libellus; and other works.
