a territory of Great Poland, having on the north the duchy of Prussia, on the west the palatinate of Kalisk, on the south the voivodeship of Liciczi and Rawa, and on the west that of Ploczko. It contains two palatinates, the chief towns of which are Inowloez and Bretz; as also Uladilaw, the capital of the district.
