(Lucius Annaeus), a Latin historian, of the same family with Seneca and Lucan. He flourished in the reigns of Trajan and Adrian; and wrote, in an elegant style, an Abridgment of the Roman History, of which there have been many editions. The best are, Ad Ufum Delphini, 4to; and, Cursus nostris variiorum et Dukeri, 8vo.
