(Nicholas), an excellent Spanish physician of Seville, who lived in the 16th century; and deservedly acquired great reputation by his practical skill and the books which he wrote. His Spanish works have been translated into Latin by Clusius; into Italian by Annibal Brigantus; and those upon American drugs have appeared in English. He died about the year 1578.
