(Pausanias, Pliny); the north wall of Athens; so called from the builders, the Pe- lasgi. There was an exorcism pronounced on any that should build houses under this wall; because the Pelasgi, while dwelling there, entered into a conspira- cy against the Athenians, (Thucydides).
