a very beautiful city in Bukharia; supposed to be the same with that which is now called Taibacan, the capital of the eastern part of Turkestan, possessed by the Kaffirs. It is situated on the river Sistan, now Sir, and had a well-watered garden for every house; but was ruined by Jenghiz Khan, who took the city, and caused a great number of its inhabitants to be massacred.
