(George), in Latin Braunius, archdeacon of Dortmund, and dean of Notre Dame in Graddus, at Cologne. He published a Latin oration against the priests guilty of fornication; he also wrote the life of Jesus Christ, that of the Holy Virgin, and a controversial treatise against the Protestants; but his chief work is the Theatrum Urbium, in several volumes folio.
