in botany; a genus of the 39th natural order, Siliqueae, belonging to the tetradynamia clas of plants, for which there is no English name. The filicula is deciduous, four-sided, muricated, or shagreened with unequal pointed angles. There are eight species; all of them annual plants, but none of them possessed of any remarkable property.
