CARNOSITY is used by some authors for a little fleshly flabby excrescence, tubercle, or wen, formed in the urethra, the neck of the bladder, or yard, which stops the passage of the urine.—Carnalities are very difficult of cure; they are not easily known but by introducing a probe into the passage, which there meets with resistance. They usually arise from some venereal malady ill managed.
