(Fabio), a very learned botanist, born at Naples about the year 1567. He became skilled in the languages, in music, designing, painting, and the mathematics; and died about the middle of the 17th century. He wrote: 1. Φυτοπαραγωγη, seu Plantarum aliquot (ac pificum) historia. 2. Minus cognitum rariorumque stirpium impressus; itemque de aquatilibus, aliique nonnullis animalibus, libellus; and other works.
