or FEUD, is defined to be a right which a vassal hath in lands or some immoveable thing of his lord's, to use the same, and take the profits thereof hereditarily, rendering unto the lord such feudal duties and services as belong to military tenure, &c. and the property of the soil always remaining to the lord.
