or FREDERICKSTADT, a strong town of Norway, in the prefecture of Agerhuys, where Charles XII. king of Sweden was killed by a musket-ball in 1718, when he was besieging this town. It is seated on the coast of the Catagate, in E. Long. 10° 45'. N. Lat. 59° 2'.
