or WARRANTEE, in law, a term relative to warrant or warrantee, properly signifying him whom the warrantee undertakes to indemnify or secure from damage.

GUARANTEE is more frequently used for a warrantee, or a person who undertakes and obliges himself to see a second person perform what he has stipulated to the third. See WARRANT.
