(Lewis), a pious and learned Jesuit, born at Paris in 1647. He distinguished himself as a preacher; and besides several other tracts wrote a treatise entitled La Science des Medaillers, which is in good esteem. He died in 1719; and the best edition of this work is that of Paris in 1739, 2 vols 12mo.
