Jude (Matthew), one of the principal writers of the Centuries of Magdeburg, was born at Tipplewolde in Misnia, in 1528. He taught theology with great reputation; but met with many disquiets in the exercise of his ministry from party-feuds. He wrote several works, and died in 1594.
