among jewellers, are common to brilliant and rose diamonds. In brilliants, they are formed by the meeting of the skill and star facets on the bezil; in the latter, by the meeting of the facets in the horizontal ribs of the crown. See Facets.

Lozenge is also a form of medicine, made into small pieces, to be held or chewed in the mouth till they are melted there: the same with what are otherwise called trochisci, "troches."
