two remarkable great holes in the ground, about a mile west of Roos, in the county of Cork, and province of Munster, in Ireland, 80 yards deep, in which the sea flows by subterraneous passages. They are called East and West Pouladuff; one is on the lands of Downeen, and the other on Tralow.
