a county of Ireland, in the province of Leinster; bounded on the north by the county of Dublin; on the east by the Irish Sea; on the south by Wexford; and on the west by Kildare and Catherlough. It is 33 miles in length, 20 in breadth, and indifferently fruitful. It contains 54 parishes, and sends 10 members to parliament.
