a sect among the Mahometans who deny any eternal, fixed, divine decrees, and are adherents of free-will. The word is formed from the Arabic alkadar, which signifies "decree." The Alkadari are a branch of Mozazalites, and stand opposed to the Algiabarii. See Algiabarii.
