a division of the province of Tobolsk in Siberia. It is bounded on the north by the straits of Waigatze, on the east by a large bay of the Frozen ocean, which runs into the land towards the south, and at the 6th degree of latitude separates into two arms; one of which is called the Oblyata-Guba or Oblyat.
