Count Guid Ubaldo, an Italian poet, was the son of Count Pietro Bonarelli, minister of the duke of Urbino. He was intrusted with several important negotiations, and was esteemed an able politician and learned philosopher. He was the author of a fine Italian pastoral entitled, Filli di Sciro. He died at Fano, in 1608, aged 45.
