Burg-Castle, or Borough-castle, a fortress on the edge of the county of Suffolk, three miles west of Yarmouth, where the rivers Yare and Waveney meet. It was formerly a delightful place; but now only the ruins of its walls remain, near which Roman coins are often dug up.
