a town of Suffolk, situated in a bottom on the river Freston. It consists of about 600 houses; with a handsome church, a chapel of ease, and a Presbyterian meeting-house. The streets are pretty broad, but not paved. Large quantities of yarn are spun here for the Norwich manufacture; and this town had once a considerable woollen manufacture, which is now decayed. E.
