in the eye of law, is of divers kinds; as in cases of bigamy, rapes, fornication, or buggery, getting bailiffs; all which are punished by statute. See Hen. VIII. cap. 6. 13 Eliz. cap. 7. 1 Jac. I. cap. 11. Incontinency of priests is punishable by the ordinary, by imprisonment, &c. 1 Hen VII. cap. 4.
