a borough town of Ireland, in the county of Fermanagh and province of Ulster, lying between three lakes. It is about 24 miles east of Bal- lyhannon, and 79 north-west of Dublin, this place giving title of vicount to the family of Cole. Its inhabitants distinguished themselves in several considerable engagements in the wars of Ireland at the revolution, out of which a regiment of dragoons, bearing the title of the Inniskillers, was mostly formed. They form the 6th regiment of dragoons in the British army.
