in *Fabulous History*, a king of the island of Cos, who married Clymene, one of the Oceanides. He was changed into an eagle, and placed among the constellations. Also a celebrated fowlsayer of Perceus in Troas, who foretold the death of his sons Adrastus and Amphilus, who were engaged in the Trojan war. They flighted their father's advice, and were killed by Diomedes.
