Newburgh, in the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales, distant from London 254 miles, though but a small town, situated over against Caernarvon in North Wales, about 17 miles southwest from Beaumaris, is governed by a mayor, two bailiffs, and a recorder. Its Welsh name is Rhôsffir, or Rhosfaer.
