a people mentioned by Solinus and Iliodus, and by them supposed to have the teeth of dogs. They were probably denominated, says Dr Bryant, from the object of their worship, the deity Chan-Adon, which the Greeks expressed Κυωδων, and thence called his votaries Cunodontes.
