Francis, a Frenchman; compiler of a general collection of treaties of commerce, alliance, and peace, between the powers of Europe. This collection, with Barbeyrac's, containing the treaties B.C., makes 16 vols folio, very useful for historical writers. Dumont retired to Holland in 1720. The time of his death is uncertain.
