a territory of Great Poland, having on the north the duchy of Prussia, on the west the palatinate of Kalisk, and on the south those of Lici and Rawa, and on the west that of Ploczko. It contains two palatinates, the chief towns of which are Inowloez and Bred; as also Uladislav, the capital of the district.
