He would have continued his navigation, had it not been for want of provisions. He wrote an account of his voyage, which was often quoted, but not much credited. Sigismund Gelenius published it in Greek at Basle, by Frobenius, in 1533. He lived, according to Pliny, when the affairs of the Carthaginians were in the most flourishing condition; but this is a very indeterminate expression.
