The Luteola or Dyer's-weed, Yellow-weed, Weld, or Wild-weed, is one of the most valuable of the species, on account of its extensive use in dyeing. See Dyeing. The odorata or mignonette is well known for the sweetness of its fragrance, and as an ornament of the flower-garden.
