Count Guid'Uraldo, an Italian poet, was the son of Count Pietro Bomarelli, minister of the duke of Urbino. He was intrusted with several important negociations, and was esteemed an able politician and learned philosopher. He was the author of a fine Italian pastoral entitled Filli di Sciro. He died at Fano, in 1658, aged 45.
