It is about 40 miles long and 25 broad. Though it is a country full of hills and rivers, yet it is fertile in some places, the rivers abound in trouts, and there is plenty of all sorts of game. The chief places are Belley the capital, Seisel, St Rambert, Fort L'Ecluse, and Chateau Neuf.
