Claverius places them about the Warta, a river of Poland; though the conjectures on the seat of these people are doubtful; and no wonder, because the Roman expeditions terminated at the Elbe. They afterwards removed to the Cisalbin Germany, and at length to Celtic Gaul, and gave name to the duchy and county of Burgundy.
