town of Spain in the province of Estremadura, is seated on the river Saler, and noted for the exceeding fine wool which the sheep bear in the neighbourhood. Between this town and Brocos, there is a wood, where the allies defeated the rear-guard of the duke of Berwick, on the 7th of April 1706. E. Long. 6° 47'. N. Lat. 39° 15'.
