CHRYSIA, in *Ancient Geography*, a town of Mysia, on the sinus Adramyttium; extinct in Pliny's time: it had a temple of Apollo Smintheus, (Homer, Strabo). The country of the fair Chryseis, who gave first rise to the quarrel between Agamemnon and Achilles.
