Thomas, an ingenious and learned physician, born at Antwerp in 1566. He went into Italy to study physic under Mercurialis and Aldrovandus; and on his return distinguished himself so much in the university of Louvain, that he was there chosen professor of physic, and was afterwards made physician to the duke of Bavaria. He wrote several works, among which were, De viribus imaginatiorum; and De formatione foetus. He died at Louvain in 1631.
