county town of Kinross-shire in Scotland, situated in W. Long. 3° 25'. N. Lat. 56° 15'. on the west side of Lochleven, a fresh water lake about 10 miles in compass, abounding with pike, trout, perch, and water fowl. The manufactures are linen and some cutlery ware.
